Happy Birthday Kid

Happy B’day Kid on your first Birthday.

Last one year rolled out very fast and see your first b’day came so soon. It’s a perfect day to replay all the memories I have with you. You have given me so much happiness and you have no idea about it.

You were born exactly one year ago, due to a morning full of action about reaching train in time. From that day onwards your uncles, aunts, friends everyone has showered so much love on you. Kid you are loved by many people and thats why you grew up so soon.

You were born with speaking abilities since birth and you spoke about many differnt topics. You narrated stories, you shared experiences, you shared memories, you even spoke a poem and people around you are so generuos that they always listen to you happily. Some of them love you so much that they come  to visit you regularly and express themselves. They help you in growing up by giving you feedback about your skills and techniques. They are very supportive and you are today just because of them. Please request them to drop their letters as frequently as possible to make you happy.

Baby, I understand I am not able to give you much time now as compared to your early days but then I always love you. I am sure that you will grow more with time. You may be speaking less often but people will always be there for you.

I hope you continue to speak out your heart, tell what you feel and your uncles and aunts will always be there to listen to you.

Happy birthday to you my dear Blog  🙂

I am not flying kites this year

Today is Sankranti, Sky is also clear

But, I am not flying kites this year.

……………………………………………………..

When I was a kid, times were diferent,

We were on the roof, entire day

Forget all hunger and all the work ,

Music was also played by the way

Friends and family were also there,

But I am not flying kites this year.

…………………………………………………….

Now, I am in office working today,

Recalling memories of that  day,

Thinking about the fun I used to have,

Things don’t work here in my way.

I don’t want to shout, let no one hear.

But, I am not flying kites this year

Just three points

Some things don’t change like bad habits and I have one named laziness. For the past many days I was not posting as frequently as few months back. I was thinking I am running out of ideas, I am not finding something interesting to write but I realized it’s my laziness that has some how grown up  again. It happens with me many times that I start something new with enthusiasm and then stop doing it and switch to something else. I am afraid now that it should not happen with my blogging.

So time to dress up again, tighten up the shoe laces and start to run. In search of a very interesting topic, I was losing the fun that I had in writing about stupid things earlier. Though nothing ‘interesting’ but some random thoughts again.

11300 KM in 4 months :

I got around 4 months free time after my PG and I utilized it in traveling a lot. The travel route followed in last four month is :

Hyderabad-> Chennai-> Pondichery-> Chennai->Hyderabad-> Bangalore-> Hyderabad-> Ujjain-> Ajmer-> Ujjain-> Delhi-> Ujjain-> Ajmer-> Ujjain-> Hyderabad-> Goa-> Hyderabad-> Ujjain.

This excludes many round trip visits to Indore. The total distance comes out some where around 11300  km. This is equal to distance traveled earlier in many years combined. Now this meter will come to halt after I reach hyd next month adding another 1000 km 🙂

Festival Season:

Diwali festival is few days away but still not getting the enthusiasm. We always desire something and when we have that we don’t enjoy it and want some thing else. When I was a kid no matter how much fireworks my father bought me, they never appeared sufficient. I used to think, when I will grow up, I will buy myself thousands of fireworks. Now when I can get them, I am not at all enthusiastic about fireworks. This is not just about fireworks but about all things I wished when I was kid. This a bad thing and I have given myself a red alert.

Government Offices : India is changing fast but the condition of goverment offices is not changing. Though some efforts might have been put up, but majority of the government offices are still run in horrible condtions. Yesterday, I went to RTO office and as soon as I entered, I wanted to run away. The building is very old, suffocating, smells bad and cungusted. In all a non working environment, long long away from a healthy one. This may be one of the reasons for inefficiency in the work there.
